Amiens - A Cathedral in colours

The show takes place every evening on the cathedral square. 10.45 pm in June, 10.30 pm in July, 10.00 pm in August, 9.30 pm in September and 7.00 pm in December.
When night falls, the colours of Notre-Dame breath life back into the Saints, apostles and other figures sculpted in stone since the 13th century. The fabulous cathedral, a UNESCO world heritage site, invites you to take a unique look at the sculpture on its West side.

Christmas Market
2009 - November 28 to December 26
Amiens will be hosting the largest Christmas market in the north of France and invites you to stroll through a relaxed atmosphere to the sound of Christmas carols. The 125 wooden stalls will go from the railway station to the City Hall and Belfry covered market. Coming from France and elsewhere, the stalls will provide you with many gift ideas: crafts, decorations and gourmet products. During four weeks, the City centre will be animated with concerts, chorals and street arts.
