International Festival of Lyric Art
2009 – July 3 to 31
First held in 1948, the Festival welcomes lovers of lyric art from all over the world each year in July. The theaters of the city and the surrounding area (theater of Archeveche, theater of Jeu de Paume, Grand Theater of Provence) resound to the great voices of opera, performing Mozart under starry sky, as well as Handel and Britten in prestigious productions.

Encounters with the 9th art - comic strip festival
2009 - 24 March 24 to April 25
As usual, the Festival will be held in several of the city's cultural and heritage sites: museums, art galleries, the Angelin Preljocaj National Ballet Choreography Center, as well as restaurants and cafes with exhibitions, workshops, film showings and of course the Meeting and Dedication Days on 3, 4 and 5 April in the Cité du Livre.
